The Fools journey through the Wands
story of the Fools third journey takes him through the suit of wands. Wands
normally refer to ideas and creativity, they correspond to the spring season
and the element fire.
When the Page of Wands comes into the Fools life he tells him of an idea
that had that never come to fruition, the Ace of Wands brings the Fool a new
solution to get the idea off the ground which he's sure will solve the problem, this ignites the
fire of enthusiasm within the Fools heart. The 2 of Wands brings a need
for collaboration and then the 3 of Wands gets him excited, telling him of eminent success.
Things go well then the 4 of Wands says thing are so successful that
expansion is on the cards but the 5 of Wands sends him a warning, the
Queen of Wands whispers to him that the project could fail because of jealousy
and conspiracies against him.
Fresh encouragement comes when the
King of Wands inspires the Fool with courageous talk and he overcomes
the setbacks, the journey continues with the 6 of
Wands bringing news of general acclaim for his achievements. The 7 of
Wands now tells the Fool it's going to be hard to better his
achievements so far but the 8 of Wands tells him it will be worth it.
Troubles loom again and the 9 of Wands tells the Fool to use his integrity and
be courageous in his struggles, but in the end the 10 of Wands tells the
Fool the workload was to great. The Journey ends in failure.
